Krungsri Asset Management Launches Two Funds to Capture Global AI Megatrends

19 August 2026

Krungsri Asset Management launches KF-AINEXT and KF-AINEXT-FX, offering investors access to global AI leaders across the full AI value chain and next-generation technologies. The funds focus on companies generating meaningful revenues from AI-related businesses, with IPO period from 19 – 25 August 2026.

Ms. Supaporn Leenabanchong, Managing Director of Krungsri Asset Management Company Limited, said, “The growing demand for AI across industries worldwide, together with increasing investment in infrastructure to support AI-related demand, reflects that AI is more than a short-term trend. It has the potential to become a key long-term driver of the global economy. This creates growth opportunities for businesses across the entire AI value chain, from upstream infrastructure to downstream applications.”

“The Company has therefore launched KF-AINEXT and KF-AINEXT-FX, which invest in the master fund, Invesco AI and Next Gen Software ETF. The fund focuses on companies driving the development of AI and next-generation software, with diversified exposure across the AI value chain - from infrastructure supporting data processing and storage, such as semiconductors, networking and cloud computing, to developers of AI platforms and models, as well as companies applying AI to enhance efficiency and create value for their businesses. This means the investment opportunity is not limited to the technology sector, but also extends to companies across industries such as Industrials and Healthcare, providing investors with comprehensive access to AI growth opportunities throughout the development and real-world adoption of AI.”

“A key strength of the master fund is its systematic stock selection approach, which considers company size, liquidity and relevance to the investment theme. Eligible companies must derive at least 50% of their revenues from businesses related to the theme. The portfolio then selects up to 100 companies based on free-float market capitalization and is rebalanced quarterly, allowing the portfolio to continuously reflect changes among leaders in the AI industry.”

“The top five holdings include AMD (8.80%), Micron Technology (8.57%), Alphabet (7.39%), Meta Platforms (7.33%) and NVIDIA (7.22%). The portfolio has 82.06% exposure to the United States and 52.33% exposure to the Semiconductors & Semiconductor Equipment sector. The master fund delivered a one-year return of 111.51%, an annualized three-year return of 42.53%, and an annualized return of 15.97% since inception.” (Source: Invesco, as of 30 June 2026)

“Current market conditions present an attractive investment opportunity, as prices have declined significantly while underlying fundamentals remain intact. The AI theme still has substantial room for long-term growth. This is evident from the continued increase in the share of companies adopting AI in at least one business function, rising from 20% in 2017 to 88% in 2025. In addition, AI technology is estimated to generate up to US$22 trillion in additional economic value globally by 2030, potentially contributing approximately 3.7% to global GDP growth. Generative AI could also potentially increase annual profits across global businesses by as much as US$4 trillion.” (Sources: Invesco and McKinsey, November 2025)

“KF-AINEXT and KF-AINEXT-FX provide investors with access to growth opportunities from the AI megatrend and next-generation technologies, with a choice based on their views on foreign exchange movements. KF-AINEXT manages foreign exchange risk at the discretion of the fund manager, with the fund normally providing full hedging. Meanwhile, KF-AINEXT-FX is suitable for investors who are comfortable taking foreign exchange risk, as the fund does not hedge against foreign exchange fluctuations. Both funds have a minimum initial investment of just THB 500,” Ms. Supaporn said.
